Wakefield Independent School

Wakefield Independent School is an independent day school situated at Nostell in the heart of West Yorkshire.

We cater for children from 3 to16 years within our 3 school structure. The Rectory houses the foundation and infant years. Wragby, is the base for our junior school and Nostel is home to our seniors.

The primary characteristics of the school is a friendly, family and caring atmosphere. We cultivate a community spirit, which is vital to the well-being and character development of every pupil. Kindness and camaraderie are crucial parts of our promotion of the family environment.

We have small teaching groups of experienced staff and low pupil/teacher ratios. This allows a more individual approach to teaching and pupil development.

Situated in a picturesque location within the Nostell Priory Estate, the school offers a conducive and stimulating environment.
